I love that! What was your experience like when you visited a local coffee shop?

Expert

It was quite enchanting! We stumbled upon this little coffee shop that looked like a small shack in someone’s driveway. During the day, it serves coffee, and in the evening, it transitions into a bar. It’s a very intimate setup, which made it feel like you were stepping into someone’s home.

That sounds so cozy! How did the atmosphere contribute to your experience?

Expert

It really transported me. The interior was small but felt spacious, almost like a portal to another time. It had a vintage vibe, enhanced by an old jazz record playing on a beautiful Denon turntable. The music, combined with the rustic decor, made the whole experience feel atmospheric and nostalgic.

Definitely! The shop had a detailed menu with different beans and roasts. The owner would grind the beans fresh for each order, which added to the craftsmanship of the coffee-making process. The pour-over method is quite popular in Japan, and it allows for a rich flavor profile.
