Mozilla retired Pocket in 2025 and left a lot of people with an exported list of links and nowhere to put them. Bookmark.fm is somewhere to put them — and a reason to open them again.
Same habit, different ending
Pocket was excellent at capture. Save from anywhere, read anywhere, sync everywhere. What it never solved — what no read-later app has solved — is that the reading itself still needed you at a screen with time to spare. Can I import my Pocket export file?
Not today. Bookmark.fm takes links one at a time — pasted, saved via the bookmarklet, or posted to the API.
Is this a drop-in Pocket replacement?
Not quite, and it isn't trying to be. If you want highlights, annotations and a reading interface, look for a dedicated reader. If your real problem is that you never got around to reading the saves, this is the closer fit.
Can I still read instead of listen?
Yes — every episode page shows the full transcript and links to the source article.
Does it work on my phone?
